New leaks give some more information about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 13. The smartphone could be slightly thicker than the iPhone 12, at 7.57mm for the 13 and 13 Pro models, compared to 7.4mm for the current 12 and 12 Pro models. This 0.17mm increase, however, is minimal and will not be visible to most users.
Apple should also increase the thickness of the bump that houses the rear camera modules: 2.51mm for the iPhone 13 and 3.65mm for the iPhone 13 Pro. In comparison, the thickness is 1.5mm for the 12 model and 1.7mm for the 12 Pro. The goal is to protect the lenses well and prevent them from sticking out of the camera.
The video below shows that the lenses should be significantly larger on the iPhone 13 Pro Max, here in a dummy version (watch from 3:30 min):
Thus, the growths of the camera modules should also be larger: 29 x 29 mm for the iPhone 13 and 36 x 37mm for the 13 Pro, against 28 x 30 mm for the current 12 and 12 Pro models.

These size increases are explained by the arrival of improvements in the photo part of the iPhone 13, but we will have to wait for the official announcement from Apple, which should take place at the end of September, to see if they are confirmed.
