Facebook, messenger, WhatsApp web and Instagram users faced short-term problems on Friday morning. To express their displeasure over this, Facebook and Instagram users took the support of Twitter. This is the second outage for Facebook-owned social media platforms in less than a month. According to the users, when they opened the Facebook app, they were seeing ‘Sorry, something went wrong’ and the pages were not available. This may be due to technical problems encountered in Facebook. According to Downdetector, WhatsApp Web was down from 2 pm to 4 pm.
