Departure at 1:20 p.m.
The fictitious start of the stage will be given at 1:05 p.m. After crossing the city of Albertville, the actual departure will take place at 1.20 pm.
The sprinters bonus?
After the percentages of the alpine stages, the peloton is back on the flat. There will only be one difficulty with the Col de Couz (4th category) located 58.5 kilometers after the start. It will then be favorable to the breakaways, then to the teams of sprinters who will certainly fight for the victory in Valence.
165 runners at the start
The peloton has lost 19 units since the Grand Départ in Brest. There will therefore be only 165 riders to set off on the tenth stage this Tuesday. The alpine weekend was particularly hard with 12 retirements during the 9th stage towards Tignes including those of Nans Peters, Tim Merlier and Jasper De Buyst. Seven riders arrived late: Arnaud Démare, Bryan Coquard, Anthony Delaplace, Nicholas Dlamini, Jacopo Guarnieri, Loïc Vliegen and Stefan De Bod. Primoz Roglic and Mathieu van der Poel were non-starters.
