Dismissed by the TFC for serious misconduct at the end of December, Adil Taoui has announced in recent hours to his club his intention to challenge the proceedings against him in court.
“If I made it (this decision), it was because I had no other choice.” It is in these terms that the president of the TFC Damien Comolli justified the dismissal “for serious misconduct” of the young Adil Taoui. The midfielder challenges them. Dismissed on December 28 by the TFC, Taoui sent a letter to the management of the club to challenge this decision. The 19-year-old footballer indicates that he will go to the relevant courts to assert his rights.
Arrived in 2015, at the age of 14, the native of Limoges was considered one of the club’s greatest hopes. Adil Taoui signed his first professional contract in June 2018, under the chairmanship of Olivier Sadran. He took part in two Ligue 1 matches last season, against Strasbourg and on the lawn of OM. The young man would not have accepted a passage through the reserve of the club, which he would have lived very badly.
“There were a few layoffs before we got to this situation”, recalled Damien Comolli on the antenna of France Bleu Occitanie, at the beginning of January: “My speech from day one is that the institution and the club are above everything, including me, insisted Damien Comolli on the antenna of France Bleu. If someone goes against that, he will find me in his path. It is a speech that I hate to hold on but unfortunately I had no choice. “
