The next Star Wars is coming to Disney + in May, but it won’t be a movie

Disney has just unveiled the agenda for the next series releases on its Disney + SVoD service. Fans of the Star Wars universe will be able to discover the first episode on May 4 The Bad Batch. This saga in 3D animation is the continuation of The clone wars and features a group of five clone soldiers who become mercenaries after the war.

The date of May 4 was not chosen at random. It refers to the famous replica May the Force be with you (may the force be with you). By a play on words, May the Force bECOMES May The Fourth (the 4th day of May), a date celebrated annually by Star Wars fans.

Fans of Marvel superheroes will appreciate the arrival of the series Loki which recounts the adventures of Thor’s half-brother and foe. The plot of Loki takes place after the events of the film Avengers Endgame. The series will begin on June 11.
