The teaser reveals that the upcoming Audi S5 Sportback will be a four-door coupe. It has no direct rivals in India but may be challenged by the Mercedes AMG C-43.
The facelifted version of the S5 Sportback, introduced at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, will enter the domestic market. It is also worth noting that the overall design of the updated Audi S5 is similar to the previous model.
However, the redesigned design by the brand was welcomed. The new LED headlamps with sharp single-frame grille and DRLs are the main features of the vehicle. The 4-door coupe with sportier bumper and different style tail lamps may also be successful in the Indian market.
Looking inside the cabin, the new Audi S5 Sportback 4-door coupe comes with an updated infotainment system with a 10.1-inch large touchscreen. The vehicle may also include connected car technologies such as news updates, Google Earth mapping, fuel pricing and parking search functionality.
Other features include a 4-door coupe with Audi’s virtual cockpit, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and three viewing modes – Classic, Sport, Dynamic and premium Bang & Olufsen sound system.
The safety features of the luxury car include multiple airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, ABS with ESC and EBD, brake assist, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with traffic jam assist, and multiple airbags.
In the international market, the Audi S5 Sportback comes with two engine options: 3.0 liter diesel and 3.0-liter petrol. However, the Indian model will also get a petrol engine that produces 345 bhp and 500 Nm of torque.
The company claims that the Audi S5 Sportback, which can reach a top speed of 250 kmph, can reach 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. The vehicle will be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox with an all-wheel drive.
