He clarified that there was no truth in this letter. To this end, he posted a statement on Twitter.

Rajini said the letter, which was released stating that he was not going into politics, was a fake but that his health condition as stated in the letter was not good. “As I announced, a letter was circulating on social media and in the press. I am letting everyone know that this is not my statement. However, about my health .. All the things mentioned about the advice given to me by the doctors are true. If my health deteriorates in this order I will have to face new challenges because of it. Even in such a situation if I have to get into politics I will start a political party before January 15th. In addition, I will announce my decision in December. I leave the party to my fans. It is up to the people to decide what I want to do based on the circumstances. The judgment of the people is the judgment of that God. Jai Hind ” was written in the fake letter.

His fans have always wanted Rajinikanth to come into politics. There was even a campaign that he would definitely get into politics. True to form, Rajinikanth announced his political entry in December 2017 at a meeting with fans at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai. There was a lot of discussion on Rajini’s statement at that time. There are those who accept Rajini’s decision and there are those who oppose it.

However, three years after Rajinikanth’s announcement, no decision has yet been taken on the formation of a political party. If not, his fan club Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) has become a political entity. Rajinikanth has already made it clear that he will not contest as the chief ministerial candidate even if his party contests the 2021 elections.
