Surface Laptop 4: Microsoft’s future laptop is on the way

Is the announcement of Microsoft’s next laptop imminent? This is what a tweet from the leaker WalkingCat who spotted the Surface Laptop 4 on the manufacturer’s driver and firmware download site.

The entries have since been withdrawn, but they confirm the arrival of the Surface Laptop 4 in Intel and AMD version, as mentioned by leaks from resellers.
The site Windows Latest reveals that Microsoft has submitted four models, under the references C3K1979, C3K1958, C3K1952 and C3K1950, for certification from the FCC (US Federal Communications Commission).

Microsoft is expected to offer 13.5 and 15 inch versions of its laptop, with the choice between Intel (Core 11th generation i5-1145G7 or i7-1185G7), or AMD (Ryzen 5-4680U or Ryzen 7 4980U) processors.

The Surface Laptop 3 model was launched by Microsoft in October 2019. The manufacturer then offered a more affordable version the following year, called Surface Laptop Go.
It is not yet known if the manufacturer will change the design of its laptop for version 4, or if it will just update the internal components.
