South Korean company Samsung is working on its new foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to reports, the company is going to give an under display camera in this phone. If the report proves to be true then the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be Samsung’s first smartphone to be launched with this technology. Earlier there were reports that the company may bring under display camera technology to the Galaxy S21.
Display will be with special design
According to an ETNews report, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone will get special display design. In this design, the pixels on top of the camera will be widened, so that the camera will work correctly despite being inside the display. Actually with this type of camera, there is a problem of light block due to being inside the display. It is believed that Samsung will use better under-display camera technology.
Samsung may launch the new foldable smartphone in the third quarter of 2021. However, this will not be the first phone in the world to have an under display camera. Smartphones like ZTE Axon 20 5G and Vivo Apex 2020 have already been launched with this technology. Apart from this, China’s smartphone maker Xiaomi has also demonstrated its under-display camera technology.
