Centurion, 17 April: Fakhar Zaman (60 )’s half-century innings and the excellent bowling of Faheem Ashraf (3/17) and Hasan Ali (3/40) helped Pakistan beat South Africa by three wickets in the fourth T20 match played at Supersport Park here for four matches. Won the series 3–1. Batting first after losing the toss, South Africa were able to score 144 runs in 19.3 overs with the help of five fours and two sixes from 36 balls of Raisi van der Dussen. Chasing the target, Pakistan’s team won the match by scoring 149 runs for seven wickets in 19.5 overs thanks to Fakhar’s 60 off 34 balls with five fours and four sixes.
Faheem Ashraf was adjudged Player of the Match for his superb bowling and Babar Azam was adjudged Player of the Series. Apart from Dussen for South Africa, Janaman Malan scored 33 and Aidan Marquram scored 11, apart from this, no other batsman could reach double digits. For Pakistan, apart from Hasan and Faheem, Harris Roff took two wickets while Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket each.

In Pakistan’s innings, captain Babar Azam scored 24 and Mohammad Hafeez scored 10, while Mohammad Nawaz 25 and Hasan Ali remained unbeaten by two runs. Lizad Williams and Cicanda Migala took two wickets each for South Africa, while Bijorn Fortune, Tabrez Shamsi and Andile Fehlukwayo took one wicket each.
