Mumbai, April 21: In the 16th match of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) will face the in-form Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Wankhede Stadium here on Thursday, once again against Glenn Maxwell and Abraham de Villiers. Explosive innings can be seen. Both the batsmen of Bangalore are currently in the top form, due to which RCB are on top of the table with three consecutive times. However, RCB captain Virat Kohli would like to bat for a long time and he would like to score a big score. He had scored only 33 runs in the first two matches. In the third match, he was able to score only five runs.
For RR, it will be a challenge to stop the batsmen of RCB, which starts with the pair of Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal and lasts longer. RR’s batting has also been a flop. Captain Sanju Samson started the tournament well by scoring a century against the Punjab Kings, but since then he has lost his wickets by playing the wrong shot himself. In addition, England all-rounder Liam Livingstone has already returned home, citing fatigue in the bio bubble. Chris Morris and Mustafizur Rahman will have to bowl really well to stop the RCB batting.
