Pubji ban likely to be lifted, Reliance Jio can take the franchise
New Delhi: The Government of India has recently banned the famous Pubji. Now there is good news for Pubji fans. The ban on pubs can be lifted. PubG is originally a product of South Korean company Blue Hole Studio.
Following the ban, Chinese company Tencent has recaptured the Blue Hole Studio Pubji mobile franchise. So the whole game is going to be South Korean. The government can then lift the ban.
Reliance Jio can get distribution
A blog post from Blue Hole Studios has confirmed that the company is in talks with Reliance Jio for distribution of the game in India. This deal is in the early stages. No official decision has been made yet.
Government eye on Chinese apps
The government has banned apps. The ban order said the data being collected and shared by these apps could pose a threat to the nation’s security with users. The 118 banned apps included many popular apps. Games like Ludo and Carrom are also banned during the lockdown. The list includes Ludo All-Star and Ludo Word Ludo Superstar Shivaya’s Juice and Carrom Friends.
Tik Tok also banned
Before the government banned 118 apps, 59 Chinese apps were banned. This includes the popular short video making app TickTock.
