Expelled last Saturday in Ligue 1 against Lille, Neymar was sanctioned this Wednesday by the disciplinary committee of the LFP. He was suspended from three games, one of which was suspended.
While all Parisian eyes are on the Allianz Arena for the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain (9 p.m., to be followed exclusively on RMC Sport 1), the leaders of the club in the capital kept an eye on what was happening on Wednesday in the premises of the Professional Football League (LFP).

The LFP has indeed formalized the suspension of Neymar. He was suspended from three games, one of which was suspended. For Mauricio Pochettino and his staff, this sanction was expected while PSG no longer has its destiny in hand in Ligue 1 after the defeat at the Parc des Princes against Lille (0-1) last Saturday.
Neymar avoids the worst
It was at the end of this match that Neymar received the second red card of his season in the league, after the one against Marseille last September. The two yellow cards released by Benoît Bastien against the Brazilian de facto deprived the latter of the next PSG match on Saturday against Strasbourg.
By provoking Tiago Djalo, the Lille defender also expelled, in the corridors of the Park leading to the locker room – the two players were separated by the security service – Neymar had aggravated his case with the disciplinary committee.
Already sanctioned with three suspension games last September after his expulsion against Marseille, the PSG star will therefore miss two new club games, while Paris has rarely been so jostled in Ligue 1 under the Qatari era.
Pochettino and his staff will need the presence of the Brazilian, in Ligue 1 as in the Champions League. For this, Neymar will have to stand. Against Bayern this Wednesday evening, a yellow card would deprive him of the return match at the Parc des Princes.
