Resting during the international break, Mauro Icardi stood out on Instagram on Wednesday with his last post: a photo of him and his wife Wanda with their dog … and above all a controversial legend.
Not summoned with Argentina due to the cancellation of qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup in South America, Mauro Icardi took the opportunity to treat his thigh injury contracted against Lille in the Coupe de France. But the Argentinian from PSG also sparked a controversy on Instagram on Wednesday with his last post.
Taking a photo published on the account of his wife Wanda, where we see the couple with their dog in a park, Icardi accompanied her with the caption: “My dog, my dog Wanda Icardi”. “Very funny,” his wife immediately replied on the same social network, a comment that seems tinged with irony.
The Argentine striker is not his first controversy on Instagram. Last May, he angered supporters of Inter Milan, his former club, by “liking” a publication by ex-Barcelona, Bojan Krkic.
The striker celebrated the “anniversary” of the semi-final return between Inter and Barça (3-1, 0-1) in the 2010 Champions League, marked by a controversy over a goal denied to the Catalans at the end of match.
Mauro Icardi has resumed training this week with the Parisian club for the double confrontation against Bayern Munich, in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, on April 7 and 13.
