Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti was accompanied by Asim Goyal, BJP MLA from Ambala city and some local party workers. Kataria, an MP from Ambala, went to Jandali village to lay the foundation for the underbridge on the Ambala-Rajpura rail section. Most of the protesting farmers were young. He showed black flags outside the venue when Kataria was addressing the event. He also raised anti-government slogans and asked the minister and other BJP leaders to return. Charanjit Singh, a farmer leader, said that the state government was making false claims that the farmers of Haryana were not participating in the agitation going on near the borders of Delhi. He said that there is a lot of resentment against the agricultural laws among the farmers of Haryana and a large number of farmers are already camping on the borders of Delhi. Singh said that until the demands of the farmers are not accepted, no minister or MLA will be allowed to enter the village. After the program, Kataria was taken from her car under police protection. He is also the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment. Farmers continued to show black flags and shout slogans until the minister left. Shortly after sitting in his car, Kataria snatched the protesters in a brief conversation with reporters. He said, “Those who are showing black flags behind me and shouting slogans, if they want to think of anyone …., they should at least think about the development of Ambala. Should they show black flags right here Were.” Kataria said, “I pray to God with folded hands that people who are showing black flags should understand them. They should read the agricultural laws well only then they will know that it is really beneficial for them.”
