Our prognosis: Medvedev victory against Paul (1.33)
The Russian has finally won his first match at Porte d’Auteuil! After four failures in the 1st round, the world number 2 easily disposed of Bublik in three sets. We know that Daniil doesn’t like clay, but he says he feels good about this year’s in Paris. The balls suit him perfectly according to his words and he wants to go far. Especially since he is in the cleared part of the table with the three legends out of his way before the final. Now we have to win the meetings that await him. Today he has to face the American Tommy Paul. The 52nd ATP plays well on this surface. He reached the semi-final last week in Parma before losing to Korda. Paul however had a very complicated first round against Australia’s O’Connell. He got out of it after a fifth extended set (10 games to 8). I think the freshness of Russian could make the difference. Tommy Paul can take a round from him but in the end I see Medvedev win. A sure bet at 1.33!
