According to the Daily Mail information, Jordan Henderson has called an emergency meeting of the captains of the Premier League teams to discuss a response to be submitted to the Super League as well as the way forward for the players.

As a reminder, Liverpool is one of the founding members of the Super League. The supporters of the Reds did not fail to express their discontent, raising banners with the inscriptions “shame on you”, “RIP Liverpool, 1892-2021” or even “the fans of Liverpool against the Super League European “ahead of Anfield.

Harry Maguire and his teammates are also said to have complained to Manchester United

The British tabloid also claims that the Manchester United players spoke with the vice-president of the club Ed Woodward, one of the initiators of this Super League project.

In a meeting with Mancunian captain Harry Maguire, the players were reportedly unhappy to have discovered the plans of the twelve clubs through the media.

As a reminder, Manchester United, like Liverpool, is one of the founding members while the Times indicates on Tuesday that one of the six English clubs is already thinking of withdrawing from the project, without however revealing the identity of the training.
