Students are demanding from the Rajasthan government to fill 1167 unreserved posts of teacher recruitment from the ST category for the last 17 days. In such a situation, the Protest of the candidates protesting on the Kankari hill of Dungarpur today continued on Friday.
On Thursday evening, hundreds of candidates went to Udaipur-Ahmedabad National Highway after the demands were not met. In such a situation, by Friday evening, their scope has reached Kherwara in Udaipur.
Starting from a few hundred people, now about two thousand youths have joined this demonstration. In such a situation, news has been received that angry youths have burnt two buses on national highway 8.
On the other hand, the government has invited the delegation of protestors for talks, considering the seriousness of the matter. Talk with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot may be possible in the evening.
Last night, the protesters created a lot of uproars, which caused panic among the people in the entire area. The National Highway has also been blocked and protesters are constantly throwing stones at the police.
Burn 3 vehicles including SP’s car, two buses still burnt today
On Thursday, 3 government vehicles including SP’s car were burnt and a dozen policemen including ASP, DSP, Thanedar were injured in the stone-pelting.
The protest demonstrations continued on Friday and two buses were burnt in the fire even today. On the other hand, the police have also left hundreds of tear gas shells but the protesters have blocked the highway and are overcoming the police.
