Oppo has launched its first range of smart TVs in the market this week. The company has introduced Oppo Smart TV S1 and Oppo Smart TV R1. This has put the Smart TV S1 as a premium variant of the two. The Smart TV R1 comes in two different variant sizes of 65-inch and 55-inch.

Oppo Smart TV S1 has a 65-inch 4K QLED display with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. It has a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits and features Dolby Vision technology. The TV is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT 9950 processor with 8.5 GB of RAM and offers 128 GB of onboard storage.
It also has 18 speakers with a 25W subwoofer that supports Dolby Atmos sound technology. It calls Oppo’s in-house voice assistant Breeno and has a 1080p pop-up camera for video calling. For connectivity, the TV includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, multiple USB and HDMI ports, and an Ethernet port.
Similarly, the Oppo Smart TV R1 will be sold in 55-inch and 65-inch screen models. Both variants support 4K display resolution. But unlike its premium cousin, this TV supports the original 60Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Smart TV R1 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT9652 chipset. It is paired with 2GB of RAM and has 32GB of onboard storage.
The Oppo Smart TV R1 will be available in China for a 55-inch variant with a starting price of CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs 36,000 in India). The 65-inch model of Oppo Smart TV R1 retails at CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs 47,200 in India). Oppo Smart TV S1 CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 88,300). The company has not disclosed the availability of TV in India.
