Ola will launch an EV scooter that delivers 240km of mileage for every charge

Start-up companies have managed to get the attention of consumers at the H-level, as are companies that are already selling traditional vehicles in the production of new electric vehicles, and already many start-up companies are leading the way by selling a variety of EVs.

The country’s largest cab service company, Ola, which has embarked on a new endeavor, is now investing heavily in the auto manufacturing industry and is planning to open the largest EV scooter plant in India.

Yes, Ola senior officials, who are already in talks with various state governments for the new project, have proposed a total 100-unit land acquisition process for the new automaker, and a final decision to build a new automaker is set to be announced soon.

Ola aims to produce 20 lakh units annually at its new electric scooter production plant and has already signed a partnership with the Netherlands-based electric vehicle manufacturing company Ethergo.

Ettergo sells a variety of electric scooter models with huge popularity in the European market and is planning to launch an advanced scooter-driven appscooter in India.


The Electric appscooter will return a maximum of 240 km of mileage per charge, with a removable battery that can be fully charged in just 3 hours.

In addition, the Electric appscooter, designed for city riding, provides maximum safety with connected features, with a top speed of 45 km per hour and an excellent riding experience.

The same electric scooter is now being built and sold by Ola in India under a partnership plan, which is expected to be unveiled in early 2021. However, Ola is yet to release any official information on the new electric scooter.

The major governments around the world have implemented several schemes to reduce the use of petrol and diesel vehicles and to promote the use of electric vehicles.
