Manoj Tiwari, who played for the Indian team and is known as ‘Chhota Dada’ in Bengal, spoke openly about being dropped from the team even after scoring a century. Manoj said in an interview on the Fancode app that he never questioned Dhoni in relation to being dropped from the team.
Manoj said, ‘I never thought that after scoring 100 runs for my country, after taking Man of the Match, I will not come in the final-11 for the next 14 matches but I also respect that the captain, Coaches and team management also have their own views. As a player we should respect their decisions, because they may have a different strategy. ‘
He said, ‘I didn’t get a chance at that time or say that I didn’t dare to go to Mahi, because we respected our seniors so much that we avoided questioning them. So I have not questioned him yet. ‘
34-year-old Manoj said that while he was playing with Dhoni in the Rising Pune Supergiant, he thought of asking the captain the question, but he stopped seeing IPL pressure. The right-handed batsman said, “I thought I would ask sometime later.”
