According to images from Team-BHP, the Tata Tiago hatchback appears to have replaced the oval interior door handle and stick type door locks with a more premium looking unit. It now has a new L-shaped door handle and a triangular door lock placed on top of the handle.
The company has also updated the door trim design along with the interior door handle and lock design on the new Tata Tiago car. In place of the previous flat door trim, a sloping power-window switch console was fitted.
Car interior door handles and power-window switches are among the most commonly used features in the car. After making new design upgrades to the Tiago hatchback interiors, now the cabin interior looks more premium and new than before. Except for these two changes, there are no other changes.
Tata Tiago is currently available in six variants, including two automatic variants. They are: XE, XT, XZ, XZ +, XZA, XZ +. Prices for this model in the market range from Rs 4.7 lakh to Rs 6.74 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India).
The Tata Tiago hatchback is currently available with a single petrol engine option. Its 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine produces a maximum of 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. This engine is available with the 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox options.
Some of the key features of the Tata Tiago include 15-inch alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and a power-folding wing mirror.
It also comes with standard safety features such as Dual Airbags, Corner Stability Control (CSC) and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Rear Parking Assist.
Decent features are available in the Tiago XT variant. However, more additional features are available in the top-end variants of the Tiago model. It features 15-inch alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple car play and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and power-folding side mirrors.
