After months of waiting, Mozilla’s VPN is finally available in France. Since yesterday, April 29, French and German Internet users can subscribe to this connection encryption service that the open source foundation had already launched in six countries last July (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia , New Zealand).
Three subscription formulas are available: € 9.99 / month without commitment; € 6.99 / month for six months of engagement and € 4.99 / month for twelve months of engagement. In the event of dissatisfaction, however, it is possible to obtain a refund within 30 days of purchase.

Mozilla VPN allows up to 5 devices to be connected and offers over 750 servers in over 30 countries, with no bandwidth restrictions. The publisher promises not to store any personal data or traces of activity on the servers.
The service is operated by the Mullvad company which uses the WireGuard protocol. This is known to be faster and less computationally intensive than conventional protocols (IPSec, OpenVPN). Mozilla VPN is compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit), macOS 10.15 or higher, Android 6 or higher, iOS 13 or higher, and Ubuntu.
