Pakistan’s head coach and chief selectors Misbah-ul-Haq have reacted to the PCB’s new central contract. Ever since Misbah-ul-Haq got the responsibility in the Pakistani team, he has carried out a series of changes, including the exclusion of senior players from the central contract. Players like Wahab Rijaz, Mohammad Aamir and Hasan Ali are not included in the PCB’s annual craze.

After this decision of the team management, it is now being criticized a lot. However, Misbah gave his clarification on this, saying that these three players are certainly not involved in the contract but the team’s paths are open for them in future.

Hassan Ali was so hurt by the board’s decision that he also expressed his displeasure by tweeting it but he immediately took it off.

Misbah had earlier said that the management has taken this decision thoughtfully and keeping in mind the past performance of the players. Also, the workload of some players of the team has also been taken into consideration.

On the other hand, Misbah made it clear about Hasan Ali that he was not included in the contract due to his injury. Hasan has been struggling with injury since last year’s World Cup.

In the PCB press release, Misbah said, “The selectors have taken their decision after taking all aspects into consideration.” There are different reasons for keeping Aamir, Hasan and Wahab out. Aamir and Wahab now want to play only limited overs cricket. At the same time, Hassan is struggling with the problem of injury. In such a situation, before taking any decision, we kept all the aspects in mind.

He said, “Aamir and Wahab are our experienced bowlers. When we feel that they have to be included in the contract, we will definitely do so. I believe that he is very important for the team right now and he can also contribute as a mentor for young players.

At the same time, Hasan Ali left the team due to injury before the Test series against Sri Lanka last year.

At the same time, many people believe that Aamir and Wahab did not get the contract because they announced last year that they no longer want to play Test cricket and want to focus their attention on the short format of cricket.
