Mercato: PSG would think of Donnarumma to anticipate the post-Navas

At the end of his contract with AC Milan, Gianluigi Donnarumma (22) interests PSG, according to Le Parisien and TF1. The competition is fierce on the file but Paris wants to give it a try to prepare for the post-Keylor Navas.

Very greedy with AC Milan, Gianluigi Donnarumma (22) will not extend with his training club. The Lombard club, tired of dealing with the exorbitant demands of its agent Mino Raiola, has decided to turn the page by hiring the former Lille resident Mike Maignan to replace him. “Gigi” is therefore free to engage with the club of his choice from June 30th. Preferably, obviously, in a European top club where places are already filled.

Recruited then loaned?

In recent days, the name of the best goalkeeper in Serie A has been associated with FC Barcelona (where Marc-André ter Stegen is indestructible), Juventus (where Wojciech Szczesny holds), Manchester and PSG. The French club also has a world-class goalkeeper with Keylor Navas. The Costa Rican even extended his contract until 2024.

But according to Le Parisien, PSG is very attentive to the young Italian international (25 selections). The club had already tried it in 2017 before Donnarumma finally extended with Milan. Four years later, Paris would study the possibility of recruiting him before lending it later, according to TF1. This would allow Navas to maintain his number 1 status in goal, while also preparing for his succession, while Donnarumma would play and thus not be held back in his progress.

The opportunity is great with a player of this fame, free and “free” even though Raiola will negotiate a hefty salary and big signing bonuses for him and the player. Sky Sport Italia puts Barça in pole position on the record while confirming the interest of PSG who “continue to monitor the situation of the Italian goalkeeper as an opportunity to be seized and awaits responses from the player’s entourage”.
