José Anigo will be appointed coach of Mouloudia d’Alger, resident of Algerian D1. The former coach and sports director of OM would have found a contractual agreement for 18 months with the club in the capital.
Head of recruitment for Nottingham Forest, José Anigo will return to the edge of the field in the coming days. According to information from the Algerian newspaper El Watan, the former sports director and coach of OM has reached an agreement to train Mouloudia of Algiers.
The French technician, who has not led a team since his lightning stint on the bench of the Greek club Panionios in 2018 (12 games), will therefore discover his fourth country as a coach. After France and experiences on the side of Endoume, Marseille Consolat and OM, José Anigo had led the players of Esperance Tunis in 2015 before trying to revive in Greece at Levakadios (2017) and Panionios .

Also according to the Algerian daily, the former Marseille leader would have reached an agreement with the Mouloudia of Algiers for an 18-month contract. Eleventh in Algerian D1, the Algerian club is only seven points behind on the podium after 16 games played this season.
José Anigo will succeed the resigning Abdelkader Amrani and is expected to take office next week. The former OM coach should therefore not be present on the Mouloudia bench this Saturday, against his former team of Esperance de Tunis, on the last day of the pools of the African Champions League.
