Opposed to AS Rome this Thursday evening in the semi-final first leg of the Europa League (on RMC Story and RMC Sport 1), Manchester United opened the scoring early enough, on a Bruno Fernandes goal after a Paul Pogba festival.
We said he was less fit lately, and that is indeed what his statistics indicated, but Bruno Fernandes woke up at the right time. While Manchester United received AS Rome in the semi-final first leg of the Europa League this Thursday evening, the Portuguese maestro opened the scoring early in the match.

Pogba’s sumptuous slalom
If Fernandes scored, he owes it in large part to Paul Pogba. In the 9th minute of play, the French midfielder offered himself a superb slalom in the middle of the Italian defense from the left side, to find just outside the area Edinson Cavani, who himself served in one touch Fernandes.
The finish is very clean: a small ball stung to lob goalkeeper Pau Lopez who came to intervene (1-0). This is Bruno Fernandes’ 25th goal this season (in 52 appearances), his fourth in the Europa League after goals against Real Sociedad and Granada. In the process, the Romans equalized from the penalty spot, for a hand fault by Pogba.
