Before challenging Manchester City in the semi-final second leg of the Champions League on Tuesday (9 p.m., on RMC Sport 1), PSG players received a visit from a regular Skyblues executioner: Sir Alex Ferguson. According to several media, “Fergie” spent more than an hour in their hotel.
In search of solutions to turn the tide against Manchester City, Paris-Saint-Germain received a visit from one of the Skyblues’ oldest enemies: Sir Alex Ferguson. The Manchester Evening News and The Sun photographed “Fergie” entering the hotel where the PSG players are staying on Tuesday morning.
According to the two British media, the legendary Manchester United coach (1986-2013) stayed one hour and twenty minutes in this establishment where the only customers are Parisians, health restrictions oblige. Mask with the Manchester United logo on his face, Ferguson emerged from the hotel alongside PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.

A friendly relationship with Pochettino
If the reason for the visit of the former Red Devils coach is still unknown, “Fergie” and Mauricio Pochettino developed a friendly relationship when “Poche” coached Southampton then Tottenham.
The Manchester Evening News recalls that in 2015, Ferguson told a British parliamentarian elected in London that with Pochettino, “[Tottenham] had the best manager in the Premier League. ”The former Red Devils coach even called his Parisian counterpart“ fantastic ”in April 2016.
Winner of the Champions League in 1999 and 2008 with United, Ferguson is with Matt Busby (in 1968) one of the only two Mancunian coaches crowned in C1. Red Devils fans are counting on PSG to keep this the case for yet another year.
