Dutchman Bjorn Kuipers whistle for Manchester City-PSG
UEFA formalized this Sunday the name of the referee who will officiate in the semi-final return leg of the Champions League between Manchester City and PSG. Experienced Bjorn Kuipers will therefore direct this European poster.
Not necessarily a bad memory for Paris since the Dutchman was in charge of the round of 16 won against Barcelona (1-4) this season. Last year, the official also led the semi-final won against Leipzig (3-0) in the Lisbon Final 8. It’s simple, PSG have never lost in six games with him at the helm.
Kimpembe believes in feat against Manchester City
Not exempt from all reproach on Riyad Mahrez’s decisive free kick in the first leg, Presnel Kimpembe is not lacking in ambition before the semi-final second leg of the Champions League. The central defender of PSG assures him: the feat is possible.
“Nothing is impossible, launched the world champion tricolor at the microphone of Canal + after the success against Lens. We know that we have quality and we will have to show it on Tuesday.”

Paris remains in contact with Lille in L1
Victorious of Lens (2-1) this Saturday during the 35th day of Ligue 1, PSG remains second in the standings behind Lille. Blame it on the solid performance of the Mastiffs against Nice (2-0). Paris is one point behind the northern team three games from the end of the season in the league.
Pochettino wants to be optimistic for Mbappé after his package against Lens
Victim of a contracture in the right calf, Kylian Mbappé did not play this Saturday during the Parisian victory against Lens (2-1). Asked about the physical condition of the French striker, Mauricio Pochettino was rather reassuring.
“I am optimistic, I still am, replied the Argentine coach of PSG after the meeting at the microphone of Canal +. We think he will be there.”
Before confirming a few moments later in a press conference: “I think he will get there”.
Good morning all,
Overthrown by Manchester City in the first leg at the Parc des Princes (1-2), PSG is doomed to the feat on the ground of the English team. Next Tuesday, the group led by Mauricio Pochettino is playing its survival in the Champions League and will have to win at all costs (and by scoring at least two goals) to hope to play a second consecutive final.
