A few days after a tweet where he challenged Kylian Mbappé, Phil Foden decided to separate from the company taking care of his social networks. The Cityzen had rebelled against the publication of which it was not the originator.
It was a three-word message that was enough for Phil Foden to end his collaboration with Ten Toes Media, a company specializing in sports communication. This Wednesday, in the wake of the Cityzens’ qualification in Dortmund for the semi-finals of the Champions League where they will meet PSG, the young English international Twitter account posted a photo and the following caption: “Kylian Mbappé, are you ready ?”.
A message perceived as provoking, perhaps arrogant, by the midfielder, the great architect of his team’s victory in the quarter-finals. The Daily Mail had indicated that the player was furious with his communication agency and that he had asked him to withdraw his tweet, which was quickly done.

The previous Haaland and Kimmich
The British daily nevertheless confirms that Foden separated this Thursday evening from Ten Toes Media, which also takes care of the social networks of Kane, Braithwaite, Vinicius or Robertson. The 20-year-old England international, with 500,000 subscribers on Twitter, seems to want to remain cautious before the shock against Paris Saint-Germain, scheduled for April 28 and May 4 (to be followed on the airwaves of RMC Sport).
It must be said that the pre-match provocations have not been successful for PSG opponents lately: Erling Haaland paid the price last season, just like Joshua Kimmich and the Bavarian locker room a few days ago. As for him, Phil Foden therefore wishes to concentrate fully on the preparation of this semi-final. And Manchester City will need their nugget in top form, which scored two of four goals against Borussia Dortmund in the previous round.
