Meanwhile, in Yamunanagar in the state, a young man has converted his religion to marry a Hindu girl. The young man adopted a temple Hinduism and married the girl with Hindu customs.
The girl’s age is 19 and the boy’s age is 21 years. The couple said in the Punjab and Haryana High Court that they were in danger of life or the girl’s family could imprison her. After the intervention of the High Court, the Yamunanagar police is placed under the protection.
Boy’s family members do not object to the relationship
The boy said that he works in a private company. He gets a salary of Rs 15,000 per month. His family has no objection to their relationship. They are ready to accept the girl but the girl’s family members are against their relationship.
Accused of threatening girl’s family
On November 9, both of them married in the temple against the wishes of the girl’s family members. When the girl’s family came to know about the marriage of both of them, they started threatening the couple. The boy alleges that the boy’s family is threatening to bear the consequences for both of them. They say that they will kill both of them, after which they both appealed in the High Court. The High Court has ordered the couple to be protected.
