For the first time in the country, girls will be given admission in Sainik Schools in Class VI from session 2021-22. The All India Entrance Examination of boys as well as girls will be held on 10 January 2021. On the same day, boys entrance exam for 9th grade will be conducted. Sainik School Kunjpura (Karnal) Principal Colonel V.D. Chandola said that every year on behalf of Sainik School Society, National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts examination for admission in 33 Sainik Schools of the country.

He informed that online applications are being invited from boys and girls for admission in the sixth grade at Sainik School, Kunjpura and from boys for the ninth grade. The date of birth of boys and girls should be between April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2011 for admission to class VI. The date of birth of boys seeking admission in ninth grade should be between April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2008.

10 girls in 83 seats in 6th
The principal said that during the academic session 2021-22 at Kunjpura Sainik School, the number of actual seats will depend on the number of students already studying and transferring in the said classes, yet the boys who are willing to take admission in class VI There are 83 seats for girls and 10 seats for girls and 22 seats are expected to be available for boys in Class IX.

Examination will be in English language only for IX
The last date for submission of online application form is 19 November 2020 on the school website www.aissee.nta.nic.in. During this period, fees are Rs 550 for general, OBC, defense, ex-defense category and Rs 400 for SC and ST category. Colonel V.D. Chandola informed that the medium of examination for admission to class VI will be in both Hindi and English languages ​​and English only for class IX.
