Jaipur. In Rajasthan, the phase of partial relief given to electricity consumers to deposit bills during the lockdown is over. The Ashok Gehlot government of the state has given many offers to consumers for the past several months to submit their bills. Now, in view of the economic circumstances arising out of Corona epidemic as per the instructions of the Government, exemption of penalty (late fee) on the payment of the basic dues of the electricity bill by 30 November 2020 to the consumers of agriculture, BPL and small household category on behalf of Jaipur Discom. AK Gupta, managing director of Jaipur Discom, said that the amount of exemption in electricity bills released in the billing month of November, 2020 has been sent to consumers of agriculture, BPL and small household category. Such consumers can avail the benefit of this rebate scheme by depositing the principal dues of the electricity bill by online means or by depositing it at the electricity bill collection centers by 30 November 2020.
