According to the report by Cricbuzz, Marsh did not want to stay in the bio bubble for long and he informed his decision to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Hyderabad a few days ago.
Confirming this, the BCCI said that Marsh himself has been unavailable for this season of IPL due to personal reasons. Apart from this, the board informed about the inclusion of Jason in the Hyderabad team in place of Marsh. Jason was not sold in the IPL auction this year. In the 2018 season, he played for Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils), but in 2020 he was unavailable in the IPL due to a fitness problem. Jason has played eight matches in the IPL so far. According to IPL’s latest bio-security protocol, Marsh had to remain in Isolation for seven days. The Hyderabad team bought Marsh at the 2020 auction for his base price of Rs 2 crore, but he was out for a long time in the previous season as well.
