Mumbai: In the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, five matches have been played so far and all five were exciting. The batsman who has scored the most runs in IPL is awarded the Orange Cap. After every match, the list of Orange Caps keeps changing. The list also changed after the match played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday. Talking of IPL 2021, after five matches played so far, only Indian batsmen are among the top five batsmen in the Orange Cap race. KKR’s Nitish Rana at number one, Sanju Samson at number two and Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul at number three in this list.

KKR’s Nitish Rana has scored a brilliant 137 runs in two innings of two matches. In both the matches, he has been Fifty. His highest score is 80 runs. Rana has so far hit 15 fours and six sixes.


Second in the list is Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson. He has scored 119 runs in an innings of a match. Samson had scored a century against Punjab Kings but could not win the team. He has hit 12 fours and seven sixes so far. Sanju Samson is also one of the strongest contenders for the Orange Cap.

Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul Mouduz is at number three. Rahul played an innings of 91 runs in the match against Rajasthan. So far, he has hit seven fours and five sixes. Let us know that in the last IPL season, only Orange Cap KL Rahul got. Rahul scored 670 runs in the last season. This year also KL Rahul can name Orange Cap.
