New Delhi, 12 February: A mini auction is being held in Chennai on February 18 before the 14th season of the Indian Premier League. 1097 players from abroad are participating in this auction. The oldest player to register for IPL 2021 is Nayan Doshi. The current age of Nayan Doshi is 42 years. He was born on 6 October 1978 in the city of Nottingham, United Kingdom.


Nayan Doshi’s father’s name is Dilip Doshi, who was a former player of the Indian cricket team. Nayan Doshi has not got a chance to play for Team India yet, but talk about his domestic cricket, he has performed tremendously. Nayan has taken 166 wickets in 116 innings while playing 70 first class cricket matches in domestic cricket. In first class cricket, he has the feat of taking four wickets five times and five wickets six times.

Apart from this, he has taken 64 wickets in 71 innings while playing 74 List A matches and 68 wickets in 51 innings while playing 52 T20 matches. Talk about his batting performance, he has scored 567 in first class cricket, 204 in List A cricket and 10 runs in T20 cricket.

Apart from this, Nayan Doshi has been a part of Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore team in IPL 2010 and 2011. Doshi has achieved 2 successes in his IPL career so far.
