Apple has launched the Display Module Replacement Program for the iPhone 11. Apple says that a flaw has been noticed in the display of the iPhone 11, due to which the display is not responding to the touch several times. This is happening only in those units of the iPhone 11 which have been manufactured between November 2019 to May 2020.
Apple stated on its support page that there is a problem with the display module of the iPhone 11. Apple launched the iPhone 11 handset last year with the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch liquid retina HD display. More than a year has passed since the iPhone 11 was launched. Apple’s replacement program will cover the same units of iPhone 11 which have been manufactured since November 2019, about two months after the launch.

Only this drawback of the display will be covered in the replacement program. Those devices whose screen is broken have to be fixed before service. In such a case, there may also be a charge for additional repairing, Apple has given information about this on its support page. Users of iPhone 11 users whose phone got this flaw and the users who got it fixed, can take refund from Apple. The replacement program is valid for 2 years after purchasing the iPhone 11.

IPhone 11 users can check whether their device is eligible for replacement by providing their phone serial number. The iPhone 11 warranty coverage is not extended in this replacement program. Flaws in the display will be fixed out of warranty.
