Team India is ready for the England series after defeating Australia in its own den. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has today selected the Indian team for the first two matches of the upcoming Test series against England. The team has been announced by the new selection committee led by Chetan Sharma.

Such is the schedule
The first Test will be played in Chennai from February 5 to February 9. Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium will also host the second Test match apart from the first match. The second Test will be played from February 13 to 17. The third and fourth Tests will be played at Motera Stadium, the world’s largest stadium, from March 4 to 8. The T20 series will begin on March 12. The remaining T20 matches will be played on 14, 16, 18 and 20 March. All these matches will be held in Motera, so one thing is certain that this new grand stadium will serve as a bio bubble for both the teams.

Similarly, the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium of Pune will be built for the One Day Series. All the three matches of the three-match ODI series – 23, 26 and 28 – will be played at this stadium. International cricket matches will be held in India for the first time after Kovid-19.
