Ahmedabad 12, March: One of the legendary batsmen, Team India captain Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli) can make a big record in the T20 series against England. After the Test series between India and England, it is now the turn of the T20 series. The first match between India and England will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Friday from seven in the evening.
This series is going to be very special for Team India’s captain Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli is 72 runs away from scoring 3000 runs in international T20 cricket. If Virat Kohli does this, he will become the first batsman to score 3000 runs in T20. Till now, no other batsman in the world could have done this feat in T20 international cricket.
The T20 series will be played from March 12 to 20, all of which will be played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. At present, Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in T20 international cricket with 2,928 runs. If Virat scores 72 runs in the T20 series against England, he will become the first batsman to complete 3,000 runs.
Kohli has scored a total of 2,928 runs in 85 T20 internationals so far with an average of 50.48. Virat has 28 half-centuries in his name and so far Virat Kohli has not scored a century in T20 international cricket. Virat’s best score in T20 format is an unbeaten 94 runs, which he scored against the West Indies in Hyderabad in December 2019.
Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in T20 international cricket so far, after Virat Rohit Sharma (2,839) is at number two. After Rohit, New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill (2,773) is third and Aaron Finch (2,346) is at number four.
