HMSI President Atsushi Ogata has invested in the Honda Hornet 2.0 platform to increase the number of models offered on the platform, according to a media interview. Honda has stated that it can develop the 180-200cc Adventure in the near future.
The design can be inspired by this new Adventure Bike CRF 250L series. This new adventure bike will be sold in other parts of the world.
Currently, the Hero Xplus 200 has no direct competitor to the bike. But if Honda decides to bring the new 180-200cc bike, it will compete with the Hero XPlus 200 bike.
Honda develops a smaller segment of the adventure bike, offering customers more options on the adventure bike, which can cost as much as the Expals 200.
Honda’s new Honda Hornet 2.0 is priced at Rs. Honda has replaced its old CB Hornet 160R bike with the new Honda Hornet 2.0.
With the release of this new Hornet 2.0 bike, Honda made its entry into the 180-200cc segment of the Indian market. Honda Hornet 2.0 Bike features the brand new BS-6 inspired 184cc single-cylinder engine with PGM-Fi technology.
This engine produces 17bhp at 8500rpm and 16.1Nm of torque at 6000rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
This Honda Hornet 2.0 bike is available in four color options: Pearl Ignis Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.
Honda Hornet 2.0 is Honda’s first bike in the 180-200cc segment of the Indian market. The Honda Hornet 2.0 is a sporty look with good features and competes with the Bajaj Pulsar 180 and TVS Apache RTR 200 in the domestic market.
