Buses will be started from Ballabgarh on Agra, Mathura route from 6 am itself. These buses will meet till 8 pm. Roadways may not be providing free bus services to women on the occasion of Bhaiya Dooj festival like Rakshabandhan, but an attempt has been made to give more convenience to women on this day. Roadways administration will also extend the city bus service on this day. At the same time, women special buses will also be run between Palwal-Hodal. The department has set a target of running about 120 buses of the depot. The city bus service is to operate 20 buses to Gurgaon. Departmental officials say that efforts are being made to keep the frequency of buses high, as the schedule of buses for three to four trips daily has been increased to 6 rounds. Social distancing will also be followed in buses. Special squad has been prepared for checking in buses. The Checking Squad will apprehend passengers without tickets in buses and charge them 10 times the fine. GM of Roadways Depot Rajiv Nagpal told that there is no free service for women on Bhaiya Dooj festival. Only women over 60 years of age will get half the ticket. There is no free service for women. The roadways effort will be to ensure that women do not face any difficulty in commuting.
