Sachin was born on this day in a Marathi Brahmin family of Rajapur in the financial capital Mumbai (Mumbai). Sachin’s father’s name is Ramesh Tendulkar. Ramesh Tendulkar named Sachin after his favorite musician Sachin Dev Burman (SD Burman). Sachin’s elder brother is named Ajit Tendulkar. It is believed that Ajit Tendulkar encouraged Sachin to play cricket. Sachin married Dr. Anjali Maheta on May 24, 1995. In Test cricket, he has 51 centuries and 68 half-centuries. Apart from Test cricket, he has scored 18426 runs at an average of 44.8 in 452 innings while playing 463 ODIs for the country. In ODIs, he has 49 centuries and 96 half-centuries. Apart from these two formats, he has scored 10 runs playing a T20I match for the country.
