After marrying a Dalit woman, the wife had brought the wife to join her family. Meanwhile, 4-5 youths attacked the youth together. In an injured condition, he was taken to the Civil Hospital for treatment, from where he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. During treatment there, the young man died late on Tuesday. The Badshahpur police station had earlier registered an FIR under the Assault and Arms Act. The murder section has now been added to the case.
According to the police, this complaint has been given by Rahul Singh, a native of village Laxmangarh in Rajasthan Alwar. He currently resides in Govardhan Kunj Colony of Bhondsi Area. The younger brother Akash also lived with him. It is alleged that Akash had married a Dalit girl from Badshahpur about 5 months ago. Some of the youths of Badshahpur used to keep the rivalry with Pawan, Mohit, Indrajit, Ajay, Lalu alias Dharmendra and Ravi. Everyone had threatened Akash that if he ever appeared in Badshahpur, he would kill him.
It is alleged that on Sunday 8 November, Akash went to his wife’s house in Badshahpur. At night, those youths jointly attacked the sky with sticks and sticks. When the complainant went to Badshahpur in search of his brother, the accused together were beating him. When the complainant tried to save his brother, it is alleged that Lalu and Ravi threatened to kill him with a pistol. They also said that if they tell anyone about it, they will kill themselves. The complainant ran from the spot and called his friends Vikas and Sonu. By then, he had been charged. The injured youth was then admitted to the civil hospital for treatment.
Safdarjung Hospital was referred from Civil Hospital. On Tuesday evening, an FIR was registered on the charges of assault and threatening. But the young man died during treatment late at night, due to which the murder section has been added to the case on Wednesday. Police spokesman Subhash Bokan said that the search for the accused is on.
