Tiger Woods (45) was pictured for the first time since his serious accident which left him with multiple open fractures.
Tiger Woods has appeared several times posing with crutches on his own Instagram account, but the golfer has never been photographed by since his serious car crash in California on February 23. The golfer was pictured outside for the first time. Almost four months after the accident, Tiger Woods (45) is still having great difficulty getting around.
In photos obtained and disclosed by the Daily Mail, Woods appears outside an airport, wearing compression stockings and limping on crutches after landing on a private jet. Woods was accompanied by his partner, Erica Herman, behind the wheel of a black SUV that the couple borrowed to leave the airport.
Operated for multiple open fractures
In early April, the police had established that the golfer was driving at a “dangerous speed”, nearly double the authorized limit, during his accident. The golf star’s vehicle had rolled off the road before rolling several times in Ranchos Palos Verdes, near Los Angeles, and Tiger Woods, 45, had his right leg broken.
He had been operated on for a long time, in particular for multiple open fractures in his right leg which required him to insert a metal rod into the tibia and screws to consolidate the bones of the foot and ankle. After three weeks of hospitalization, Tiger Woods returned home to Florida to begin his recovery, which he continues to continue today.
