Nothing is more important to a mother than her child. Then if that child is separated from the mother for some reason, then the world ends as if it were hers. The same happened with Sunita Devi, a resident of Bhagola village. His 12-year-old boy, who was a bit mentally weak, suddenly disappeared in April 2019.

He tried his best to find her but found no clue. He then informed the police and filed a missing report. Despite this, no child was detected. After this the case was referred to the State Crime Branch. The team traced the missing child from about 500 km away from his house and handed it over to the family before Diwali and gave them the gift.

ASI Amar Singh of State Crime Branch said that in April, a 12-year-old child resident of village Bhagola suddenly went missing from the house. No one was present at the house when the child was lost. The child’s mother and father both worked in private company. Following this incident, a report of missing child was lodged.

As soon as the matter came to the notice of the State Crime Branch, the picture of the child was sent to various social media platforms including various portals of the country, WhatsApp group as well as all the shelter homes. In a week, a child resembling the same picture was reported to be in a shelter home in Lucknow. After that, when the family verified the child’s shelter by contacting that shelter home, it was found out that he is present in Lucknow.

‘Now won’t let the son go away’
ASI and constable Deepak Deepak, who are in the team of State Crime Branch, went to Lucknow with the child’s mother and another relative. Re-introduced the mother-son, who had been there for 19 months. State Crime Branch’s ASI Sheetal and constable Mohanlal have also contributed significantly in this search operation. The child’s mother Sunita Devi said that the State Crime Branch team has made my Diwali auspicious. There can be nothing greater for me in this life. Now I will not take my child away from me even for a moment.
