Farmers of Punjab begin collecting essential items for Delhi march

Farmers’ bodies said on Saturday that the march was “historic” and said it had huge support, which would “shake” the central government. The farmers, protesting against the three agricultural laws of the central government, had said on Wednesday that they would reach Delhi on November 26 through five highways connecting the national capital. Chandigarh, November 21 (Language) The peasant bodies of Punjab have started collecting rations, queens and other essential items from the people before their proposed march against central agricultural laws. Farmers’ bodies said on Saturday that the march was “historic” and said it had huge support, which would “shake” the central government. The farmers, protesting against the three agricultural laws of the central government, had said on Wednesday that they would reach Delhi on November 26 through five highways connecting the national capital. Farmer bodies have formed a joint farmer front to pressurize the central government regarding their demands. Farmer leaders say that this front has the support of more than 500 farmer organizations. Farmer leaders said that their performance is getting tremendous support from the villagers. They are donating rations, cash, blankets and other items. A farmer leader in Barnala district said, “The villagers are donating ration with an open heart.” Sukhdev Singh Kokarikalan, general secretary of Bharti Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) said that even women collect ration and other goods She is going from house to house for Kokrikalakan said, “We are getting rations, utensils, mats, blankets and queens.”
