Facebook joins the trend on all mobiles with a dark version of its interface design. Many applications on both Android and iOS have been in dark mode since last year, thanks to the benefits of battery, health, and above all for the aesthetics it offers users.
Facebook was not going to miss the opportunity to take advantage of the trend, and although it has been one of the last applications to implement this model in its interface design, it is gradually testing it on both Android and iOS devices.
Facebook’s Dark Mode is already available in its Desktop version, but now the social network is testing the smartphone version publicly without making any official announcement.
Dark mode details
Tech blogger Jane Manchun Wong was the one who noticed the change Facebook is making in its design.
In the video posted on his Twitter account, it can be seen that the dark mode on Facebook will not have black as the main color, which can annoy users with AMOLED screen smartphones.
