Carlo Ancelotti’s home in the Liverpool region was visited on Friday evening by two masked burglars. The 61-year-old Italian coach has had a safe stolen, according to a police report. His daughter is said to have put the suspects to flight.
The phenomenon of burglaries against football players is not only French. The British press reports that two individuals wearing black hoods broke into Carlo Ancelotti’s home in Crosby, near Liverpool, on Friday evening.
According to Sky Sports, the Italian coach of Everton (61) was not on the scene at the time of the facts, which occurred around 6.30 p.m., unlike his daughter. The presence of the latter would also have scared the suspects.

According to a police statement, a safe was stolen. No occupant of the house was injured during the intrusion. An investigation has been opened by Merseyside Police. The home of the former coach of Paris Saint-Germain must be the subject of fingerprints. In addition, CCTV footage will be used to try to confuse suspects.
Carlo Ancelotti has been at Everton since the start of 2019. He bounced back there shortly after his dismissal in Naples (2018-2019). This is the second time he has played in England, after his first two-year stint at Chelsea (2009-2011).
