Like Tony Parker, the former hurdler Ladji Doucouré denied on social networks supporting Frédéric Thiriez in the race for the presidency of the FFF. The candidate had however posted the name of the ex-athlete on his official website.
Did Frédéric Thiriez “boggle” the list of personalities supporting him in the battle for the presidency of the FFF? The question arises … After the rant of Tony Parker, who learned “with surprise” to be part of the support of the candidate, and the denial of the entourage of the rapper Soprano, Ladji Doucouré also joined the dance Thursday night.
Via his Twitter account, the former 110m hurdles world champion was also surprised to see his name appear in the list. “Hi Titi, wrote the Essonnien, calling out to Thiriez. Apparently we know each other? Yet I don’t remember giving you my support.”
Manaudou’s name has also disappeared
This Friday morning, Doucouré’s name had disappeared from Frédéric Thiriez’s campaign site. Like that … of Florent Manaudou – the swimmer did not speak on the subject – which appeared there at first. On the other hand, Cécile De Menibus and Gérard Depardieu are still in the game.
As a reminder, three men have declared themselves candidates for the election for the presidency of the Federation: the former president of the LFP Frédéric Thiriez, therefore, but also the outgoing president Noël Le Graët, and the entrepreneur Michel Moulin. The Federal Assembly of the FFF will elect the executive committee on Saturday 13 March.
