Separating work navigation from personal navigation is what Workspaces could do, a feature Microsoft is working on for its web browser. Discovered within the Canary branch of Microsoft Edge, the function is currently hidden. Unlike many experimental functions, Workspaces, or workspace in French, is not activated by means of a flag, but by means of an additional parameter to be configured in the browser startup shortcut.

Once activated, Workspaces takes place in the upper left corner of the window, right next to the tabs. The function allows you to rename the open window and save all the open tabs to easily find them when you open them the next time. The creation of a new workspace leads to the opening of a new dedicated navigation window. And while each window represents a separate workspace, the Workspaces button to the left of the tabs makes it easy to switch from one workspace to another.
To activate Workspace, right-click on the Microsoft Edge Canary shortcut from your desktop and go to the Properties. At the end of the line Target, make a space and add the following parameter:
–enable-features = msWorkspaces
Then validate by clicking on Apply then on okay. Then restart the browser. The button to access Microsoft Edge workspaces should now be visible at the top left of the window.
